about

With Nhanderuvuçu, the musician from Minas Gerais makes clear his artistic project and his confessional tone that seeks influences of the most varied, in poems, in the city, in people, loves and everyday themes that fit very well with the guitar present in all the songs .

Arthur Melo's first LP has 15 tracks with even more diverse references that walk through MPB and the psychedelia of the late 60s and early 70s, with fluid keyboard tones, phaser pedals and striking drums that blend with the calm guitar that dates the congas and maracas throughout the disc.

The experimental is very present and mixed with samba, bossa nova and folk, it invites the emergence of magical and seductive instrumental songs and tracks that can be classified as “PsicoBossaSambaFolkContemporâneoExperimental”, according to himself. Examples of this are the tracks, "Força", "Eu Me Vou", "Deriva", "Tormenta" and "Inverno" that show this variety of rhythms and styles but without losing the Brazilianness that is the flagship in this melting pot of sensations and colors.

Live the band has diverse formations that adapt to the place and the people, being able to go with a complete band exploring all the timbres and instruments present in the recordings, until the most intimate and sensitive formation with guitar, congas and acoustic bass.

Besides God in Tupi-Guarani mythology Nhanderuvuçu was the name chosen for Arthur Melo's second work, due to its meaning that represents the energy that exists, that has always existed and that will continue to exist, that in earthly life is represented in various ways as happiness , sadness, love, storm, calm and infinite others, which in the end are one, the Nhanderuvuçu
